Sudan says it is ready for talks with Ethiopia
But only if Addis Ababa halts its support for the Rapid Support Forces, the foreign minister says.

Sudan is ready to enter talks with Addis Ababa provided the Ethiopian government stops the support it is giving to the Rapid Support Forces and refrains from destabilising Sudan’s security, Foreign Minister Mohieldin Salim has said, according to the official Sudan News Agency (SUNA).
The minister made the remarks during a meeting with Jean-Marie Safa, France’s special envoy for Sudan and the Horn of Africa.
Ethiopia has repeatedly said it does not interfere in Sudan’s internal affairs and provides no military support to any side. Addis Ababa says the crisis can only be resolved through dialogue and a ceasefire.
Tensions between the two neighbours have been accompanied by serious accusations before. A Reuters investigation reported that a training camp for RSF fighters had been opened in Benishangul-Gumuz with Emirati backing — a claim both Addis Ababa and Abu Dhabi have firmly rejected.
