The strikes are said to have targeted military installations in the capital.

The United States has disclosed and condemned drone and missile attacks carried out by coalition forces in Addis Ababa.

The subject had been kept out of public discussion by the Ethiopian government, and supporters of the Prosperity Party had until now denied it.

The attacks are reported to have targeted a number of military installations.

The Ethiopian government has issued no statement on the matter, and the reports have not been independently verified.
