Human Rights Watch said an apparent Ethiopian airstrike on the Daero neighbourhood of Mekelle on 20 August wounded 13 civilians, seven of them children, and should be investigated as a possible war crime. It said the residential compound had no evident military target and that the army spokesperson did not respond to its questions.
