UN says a UN agency warehouse and aid groups' stores in Tigray have been looted, disrupting relief work
Food, seeds, fertiliser and water pumps were taken from a UN agency warehouse and from facilities run by local and international aid organisations in Tigray. The UN named no party.

The Reporter said UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq told a press briefing that a UN agency warehouse and facilities run by local and international humanitarian organisations had been looted in Tigray, with food, seeds, fertilisers and water pumps taken. Haq said humanitarian personnel, premises and assets "must never be targeted and must be protected at all times", and that the UN was deeply concerned at mounting reports of civilian casualties, particularly among displaced people. He did not attribute responsibility to any party. The report could not be independently verified.
