Sudan Tribune reported that a Rapid Support Forces drone attack on El Obeid, capital of North Kordofan, killed two people and wounded 20 on 25 September. The North Kordofan state government and its security committee said the strike hit a displacement shelter and other civilian sites in the city, including areas near the Police Hospital, a fuel station, a passenger bus and a house in the Arafat district. The committee said the gravity of the crime lay in targeting displaced people who had sought refuge in shelter centres after fleeing abuses in their home areas, and said the attack violated international humanitarian law. It was the second aerial bombardment of El Obeid within a week.
