World

London march demands an end to arms exports to Israel

Thousands of marchers also called for trade sanctions.

A march calling on Britain to halt arms exports to Israel was held in London on 11 October.

Thousands of demonstrators demanded not only an end to weapons sales but also trade sanctions against Israel.

Britain reduced the volume of arms it sends after Israel launched its military operation in Gaza, and the marchers urged the government to stop the exports altogether.

Britain opposes not only the military operation in Gaza but also the unlawful expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
