Eritrea issues a firm reply to the Ethiopian government
The state paper Haddas Ertra says Prosperity has formalised, in a letter to the UN Security Council, the war it declared on the people of Eritrea.

Eritrea has issued a firm reply to the Ethiopian government through the state newspaper Haddas Ertra.
The statement says the war Prosperity declared on the people of Eritrea three years ago has now been formalised in a letter sent to the United Nations Security Council in recent days.
In that letter, the statement says, the group has made clear in unambiguous terms that it is setting out to invade Eritrea. With that decision it has officially signalled its intent to extend to Eritrea the war it declared on the peoples of Ethiopia — Tigray, Amhara, Afar, Oromo and others — and on the people of Sudan.
The statement adds that wars are started by those who do not know war, and that the people of Eritrea, having lived through a long war and knowing its consequences, have exercised considerable restraint over the past three years.
