Drone strikes continue close to the Eritrean border
Schools in Gerhu Sirnay and Irob were hit, and a large fire burns on in Kafta Shiraro.

Ethiopian defence forces carried out another drone strike on the morning of Sunday 11 October, according to open-source monitoring.
The analyst Reach Ted, who tracks military flights and drone strikes, said Egela secondary school in Gerhu Sirnay, in northern Tigray near the Eritrean border, was the target, and shared footage showing black smoke rising from the school after the strike.
A secondary school in the Irob district has been struck three times in succession and almost completely destroyed, with many civilians reported killed.
NASA FIRMS recorded multiple thermal signatures around Irob and the town of Rama, and a large fire continues to burn in Kafta Shiraro national park.
