TPLF rejects the new interim administration for Tigray
It warns that institutions co-operating with the body will be held responsible.

The leadership of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front says it has completely rejected the new six-month interim administration for Tigray declared by the federal government.
Because the federally appointed administration is a political structure imposed by the ruling party, it said, any decision it issues has neither legality nor force.
The front also warned that institutions and individuals co-operating with the new body will be treated as an extension of the ruling party and held responsible.
It further accused the federal government of using Mekelle airport outside its civilian function, to move troops and military supplies.
The statement follows the federal government’s appointment of five officials to run the region.
