Tigray forces issue an urgent warning across Ethiopia
Residents of Addis Ababa, Bishoftu, Semera and Bahir Dar are told to keep away from military sites.

Several social media sources say Tigray forces have issued a security warning to civilians across Ethiopia.
The warning names in particular residents of Addis Ababa, Bishoftu (Debre Zeit), Semera, Bahir Dar and other towns, asking them to keep their distance from military camps and defence installations.
In recent days the US embassy in Addis Ababa warned its citizens that it had received reports of possible long-range strikes on military sites during October, and urged Americans not to travel to the Amhara, Tigray and Afar regions for any reason.
Britain has likewise advised its nationals against travel to Ethiopia, and told those already in the country not to travel to Tigray, Amhara and Gambela or to border areas. Observers say the warnings underline the continuing security risk and regional tension around the conflict.
