Report says Prosperity’s military structure is foreign-driven
365 cargo flights carrying military supplies are said to have landed in Addis Ababa in nine months.

Reports say the military and security structure of the Prosperity Party has no domestic base and is driven by outside powers.
According to a report in the Eritrean newspaper Haddas Ertra, 365 cargo aircraft carrying military materiel landed at Addis Ababa international airport in the first nine months of 2026 alone.
The principal suppliers are named as a group of countries including the United Arab Emirates and Azerbaijan.
The report also says Prosperity has received more than $30bn in foreign financial support from various donors over the past eight years.
By contrast, some 21.4 million Ethiopians continue to depend on humanitarian aid for survival. The claims have not been independently verified.
