Eritrea begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign away to Kenya at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Saturday 26 September 2026, in the opening Group D fixture. Kick-off is at 1:00pm GMT.

Kenya have already secured their place at the finals as co-hosts alongside Tanzania and Uganda, and coach Benni McCarthy has described the qualifiers as competitive matches in which to build and assess his squad. He has named a 24-man group captained by Al-Arabi forward Michael Olunga.

Kenya travel to Guinea on 1 October.
