Saudi Arabia has lodged a complaint with the UN Security Council. In a letter dated 26 September, Saudi UN Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil said a truck carrying aid from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre was hit by a drone near El Obeid in North Kordofan on 17 August, destroying 1,150 food parcels and setting the trailer on fire. He said Sudan's foreign ministry had officially attributed responsibility to the RSF. Al-Wasil condemned what he called widespread violations by the RSF and called on the Security Council to provide greater protection for humanitarian operations in Sudan. No casualties were reported.

The North Kordofan state government and its security committee said two people were killed and 20 wounded in RSF drone attacks on El Obeid on 25 September. The strikes hit a shelter for displaced people near the Police Hospital, a fuel station, a civilian passenger bus and a home in the Arafat district. "The gravity of this crime lies in targeting displaced people who sought refuge in shelter centres after fleeing abuses," the authorities said. It was the second aerial bombardment of El Obeid in a week. The RSF did not respond to requests for comment, and Sudan Tribune said it could not independently verify the casualty figures.

Sudan Tribune and Dabanga Radio TV reported that RSF drones struck the Um Aleila fuel depot at Abu Haraz, about 20km north-east of Wad Madani in Al Jazirah state, early on Sunday 27 September. Security sources and residents said several explosions were heard after dawn prayers and that petrol and diesel tanks caught fire, with Civil Defence teams working to contain it. The RSF did not comment. The Sudanese army said its air defences shot down an FH-95 drone in North Kordofan, while the RSF said it downed a Bayraktar drone over Blue Nile.
